CHICAGO RIOT FEST 2014 WELCOMES THE PICTURE BOOKS – I don’t know much about this band but I found
some of their videos here….. They are very bluesy, very loud and soulful. Im sure in a live setting they have
a few tricks up their sleeve. I think these guys are playing on Day 3.

Heres what the official bio says….

The Picturebooks are a German alternative rock/blues rock duo (Fynn Claus Grabke and Philipp Mirtschink) who formed after meeting a skate park. The band released the albums “Artificial Tears” and a “List of People To Kill” independently in Europe before signing to RidingEasy Records in 2014. Imaginary Horse was recorded in the same garage where they regularly refurbish and repair motorcycles and choppers.

HOT METRO FINDS: The Great Chicago Fire Festival 2014 – What Happened?

What Happened At The Great Chicago Fire Festival?
Well, there was a whole lotta waiting and a whole lotta nothing. We were out there standing in the cold for two hours waiting for some fire. We saw the great procession of a choir, a guy banging on a gong, and some fire cauldrons dragged by kayaks and then …. silence.
Hot Metro Finds was there for one of the biggest art flops in Chicago history. We were there for a unique experience…. and here is what we found.
